It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the Conference and Coordination Forum of the “Feasibility Study of the Energy Campaign for Hotel and Catering Industry in India” organised by Adelphi Consult, in collaboration with the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ). This project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety. The Conference will take place on 28-29 May 2009 in New Delhi.
This Conference and Coordination Forum will provide the opportunity to bring together various stakeholders in the coordinating of the Feasibility Study for the Energy Campaign for the Hotel and Catering Industry in India. Various workshop and dialogue sessions shall put into context the energy efficient issues in the hospitality sector in India and create a balance in terms of the organisational and financial setup of a nationwide energy efficient campaign. Various topics will be discussed and could be referred in the tentative agenda as per attached with this invitation.
The anticipated participants for the Conference and Coordination Forum will consist of representatives from the Indian Ministry, State Designated Agencies, Tourism Development Corporations, Hotel and Restaurant Associations, NGOs.
Participants will engage in discussion with regards to the feasibility study and by the end of year 2009, this feasibility study shall be concluded and the actual practical conduct of energy efficient measure, specified for the context of India, would be set in motion.
